Woman files for divorce after discovering husband joined in booing Taylor Swift at Super Bowl

During Super Bowl LIX, which took place on February 9, 2025, Taylor Swift appeared on the Jumbotron.

Instead of cheering, many fans in the stadium, including Louisa’s husband and his friends, began to boo her.

Louisa was shocked and hurt by this reaction. She felt that her husband’s actions showed a lack of respect not only for Taylor but also for her feelings.

In her video, Louisa explained that she has loved Taylor Swift since she was 12 years old.

She mentioned that her husband also enjoys her music, often playing it while they cook together.

However, when the booing started, he joined in with his friends instead of standing up for her favorite artist.

This moment made Louisa realize that her husband was more concerned about fitting in with his friends than about her feelings.

“He just wanted to fit in with his boys, he didn’t even care that that’s not even how he actually feels.

He just like wanted to look cool, I guess. And that’s not a man, that’s a boy, and when you see that, you can’t really un see it, so I’m divorcing him.”

She then added: “Thankfully, I have a prenup. I’ll be retaining all of my assets as well as the assets I inherited with peace and love.

“He probably will not be returning to the Super Bowl anytime soon, so that’s one less booer for you. Taylor, I love you.”

Louisa stated in her video, “This is not just about the booing; it represents everything wrong in our relationship.”

She felt that her husband’s choice to boo Taylor Swift indicated immaturity and a lack of understanding.

She said, “When you see that, you can’t unsee it. So, I’m divorcing him.”

After filing her divorce paperwork at the local courthouse, Louisa shared the news with her followers.

“To be honest, but he might want to start because I just filed my paperwork at the courthouse, and you can see right here the date of separation is this year’s Super Bowl.”

Louisa continued: “I’m not just doing this because of the action of booing, I am doing this because of everything that it represents in our relationship.”
