Our thoughts and prayers go out to Donald Trump and his family for their tragic loss

Lou Dobbs, a prominent figure in American journalism known for his roles at CNN and Fox News, passed away, leaving behind a legacy marked by influence and controversy. Beginning his career in radio at KBLU in Arizona, Dobbs transitioned to television in the 1970s, joining NBC’s King-TV in Seattle.

He became one of CNN’s first reporters, hosting Moneyline in 1980, and later gained attention for his controversial coverage of illegal immigration, which led to his departure from CNN in 2009. Dobbs hosted Lou Dobbs Tonight on Fox Business from 2010 until its cancellation in 2021.

Former President Donald Trump praised Dobbs as a “friend, incredible talent, and amazing reporter.” Dobbs is survived by his wife, Debi, and their six children.
