Meteorologist Sam Kuffel was fired from WDJT-TV (CBS58) in Milwaukee after posting on social media calling Elon Musk a “Nazi” following a controversial gesture he made at a gathering after Trump’s inauguration.
Kuffel shared her views with a vulgar post and a GIF, sparking backlash from conservative figures like radio host Dan O’Donnell.
The ADL defended Musk, clarifying that his gesture was awkward, not a Nazi salute, and Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu also expressed support for Musk, praising his friendship with Israel.
Kuffel had been with the station for over five years before her departure.
