Woman dyes her Great Pyreneese dog bright red so he won’t get stolen

Chloe, the owner of a 2-year-old Great Pyreneese dog named Dandy, has dyed his fur bright red to protect him from potential dognappers, as the breed is rare in her area.

She uses vegan, pet-safe dye and assures followers that Dandy enjoys his new look, which also makes him more approachable. Chloe shares her dyeing process on TikTok, where Dandy’s videos have gained 10 million likes and 318,000 followers.

While some praise her idea, others question her motives, suggesting the dye is mainly for attention. Supporters argue that Dandy seems happy and well cared for, and as long as the dye is safe, it’s the owner’s choice.

Recently, Dandy’s Instagram shows him back to his natural color, with some fans urging Chloe not to re-dye him. What do you think of her decision to dye Dandy bright red?
