DMV rules mom’s vanity plates inappropriate after 15 years

Wendy Auger, a mom from New Hampshire, was told by the DMV to turn in her vanity license plate “PB4WEGO” after 15 years. The plate, meant as a funny reminder for her kids to “pee before we go,” was deemed inappropriate for referencing “sexual or excretory acts.”

Wendy pushed back, saying the message was harmless and part of her family identity. Her story went viral on social media, gaining public support and catching the attention of Governor Chris Sununu.

He overturned the DMV’s decision, calling it a “bureaucratic holdup” and saying “common sense prevailed.”

On August 28, 2019, Wendy proudly announced: “This Sassy Momma Has Her Plates!!!”
