Former President Donald Trump has denounced a vandalism incident at his Trump Turnberry golf resort in Scotland, calling it “disgraceful” and demanding those responsible be “treated harshly.”

The March 8 attack left red paint splashed across the clubhouse and damage to the greens. Police arrived around 4:40 AM and arrested Kieran Robson, 33, who was charged with malicious mischief and released on bail. A 75-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman were also detained and later released pending further investigation. Trump praised UK authorities for their swift response and emphasized that vandalism is “not protest—it’s a criminal act.”

He has since increased security at the resort and pledged to support the investigation.

The incident has renewed debate over the limits of political expression. Critics of Trump remain vocal, but many agree that property damage undermines civil discourse.
