Today Aiden turns one.

His first year of life — filled with hospital visits, specialist appointments, and nights where I held him as he cried without understanding why strangers stared.
I baked him a cake.
I dressed him up.
I placed his little bow tie gently around his neck, and I whispered,
“Mama loves you more than the whole world.”
I posted a simple birthday message online, hoping that friends, family, someone—anyone—would show him love.
But hours passed.
And not a single message came.
Not even one.
