Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 18, has filed legal paperwork to adopt her mother Angelina Jolieās last name instead of her father Brad Pittās. She wishes to be known as āShiloh Jolie,ā and the name change is expected to be approved soon.
This follows a family tradition, as her sisters Zahara and Vivienne have also occasionally dropped āPittā from their names. Vivienne, for example, goes by āVivienne Jolieā in the musical The Outsiders. Zahara recently declared herself āZahara Marley Jolieā when joining a sorority.
This change comes amidst ongoing legal battles between Angelina and Brad, including a joint custody agreement and disputes over their French winery. Allegations against Angelina regarding alienating the children from Brad have stirred public controversy, with some expressing concern about its impact on the kids. Despite this, Angelina remains dedicated to raising her children with the same kindness and open communication that her mother instilled in her.
