Akiane Kramarik, a gifted artist and philanthropist, painted “Prince of Peace” at just eight years old after a recurring visionary inspiration. This masterpiece, a portrait of Jesus, was inspired by a vision she had since childhood. Despite her family’s lack of religious background, Akiane’s spiritual awakening led her to depict Jesus as a “role model for humanity.”

At nine, she appeared on The Oprah Show, where she confidently explained that her art came from God. Akiane’s family, initially non-religious, was amazed by her visions and spiritual discussions, which seemed to come from within.

The “Prince of Peace” painting, created with a carpenter as her model, was stolen during an exhibition but was later returned, though damaged. After a clerical error led to it being sold, Akiane fought to reclaim it. Despite setbacks, she continued her art and sold prints, keeping the painting’s memory alive.

In 2019, after nearly two decades, “Prince of Peace” was bought for $850,000 by an anonymous family. They see themselves as stewards, preserving it for future generations. Akiane, now in her late 20s, was overcome with emotion when she saw her masterpiece again. Today, her work continues to inspire worldwide, with her pieces displayed globally, including the Belóved Gallery in Texas.
