Young grad dies after eating peanut snack

22-year-old Timothy Howard from Massachusetts tragically passed away on May 24 after a severe allergic reaction to peanuts, just days after graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Communication Studies.

His parents, Tim and Patty Howard, said the reaction came suddenly during the night. Despite using an EpiPen and calling 911, Timothy could not be saved.

His mother shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, urging others to cherish their loved ones and spread kindness.

To honor his memory, Timothy’s fraternity launched a fundraiser for Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE), raising over $27,000 so far.

Friends remember Timothy as kind, driven, and deeply loved. Though his life was cut short, his legacy continues through the awareness and compassion sparked in his name.
