At 50, Angelina Jolie is ready for change. With her youngest children nearing adulthood, the actress is preparing to step away from Los Angeles and Hollywood’s spotlight. Jolie has listed her Los Feliz estate, which she bought in 2017 for $24.5 million. Built in 1913, the six-bedroom mansion sits on two acres and once belonged to filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille.

Featuring gardens, a pool, and sweeping views of the Griffith Observatory, it became both a family retreat and a refuge for friends, including those displaced by wildfires. For Jolie, the home’s proximity to Brad Pitt, just five minutes away, was key while raising their six children. She valued its quiet paths and sense of history more than its grandeur, calling it a “fortunate place” during difficult years.
Now, with her divorce finalized in December 2024 and twins Knox and Vivienne turning 18 soon, Jolie is looking abroad. She has long wanted to settle outside the U.S., citing a desire for more privacy, peace, and humanity than Los Angeles offers.
Jolie plans to spend time in Cambodia, where she has deep roots, while also traveling internationally to stay connected with her family.
