A newborn baby in Cairo, Egypt, has captured the hearts of social media users after videos showed him striking a remarkably relaxed pose moments after birth.
The baby went viral after Egyptian pediatrician and neonatologist Dr. Islam Eldeh shared footage of the little one lying on a hospital bed with both hands tucked behind his head and one leg crossed over the other.
The newborn appeared so comfortable in the unusual position that many viewers joked he looked like royalty taking a well-deserved break after arriving in the world.
In one of the videos, Dr Eldeh is seen examining the baby with a stethoscope as the little one maintains his laid-back posture.
The doctor captioned the clip, “Baby king! Pardon my excitement,” expressing his delight at the adorable moment.
In another video, the newborn is seen maintaining the same relaxed position during cord clamping, prompting even more amusement from viewers who could not get enough of his seemingly effortless royal demeanor.
Dr. Eldeh captioned the second clip, “The baby king during cord clamping.”
